To request deletion of your account or data, email security@remindpaisa.com.
What we can delete
RemindPaisa holds two kinds of personal data, and who can delete each one is different:
- Your account data — your owner profile, business details, and login. RemindPaisa is the data fiduciary for this, so we can delete it for you on request.
- Your customers' data — the people you added to send reminders to. The business that added them is the data fiduciary; RemindPaisa only acts as a data processor on its behalf. This data is deleted by the business that added it, not by RemindPaisa directly.
If you own a RemindPaisa account
Email us from the address registered to your account to close and delete it. Please include:
- The email address or mobile number registered to your account
- Your business name
- Whether you want your whole account closed, or only specific account details removed
What happens next:
- We acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
- We verify your identity, typically by confirming your registered email address.
- We delete your account and account data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (for example, billing records under the GST Act and Income Tax Act).
- We confirm by email once it is done.
If you want a customer record deleted
If you run a business on RemindPaisa and want to remove a customer you added, you can do it yourself inside the app — open the customer and delete or archive the record. That data is yours to manage, so you do not need to email us to delete it.
If a business sent you a reminder
If a business that uses RemindPaisa sent you a payment reminder and you want your data deleted, RemindPaisa cannot delete it directly — the business that added you controls that data and must delete it. Contact that business and ask them to remove your record. If you cannot reach them, email security@remindpaisa.com and we will forward your request to them. To stop receiving reminders immediately, reply STOP to any WhatsApp or SMS message.
